Graduate Engineering Engagement Programme (GEEP)

The Royal Academy of Engineering is the UK’s national academy for engineering, bringing together the most successful and talented engineers from across the engineering sectors for a shared purpose: to advance and promote excellence in engineering. SEO London is partnering with the Royal Academy to increase diversity and inclusion across the engineering profession. The vision of the programme is to create an inclusive profession that inspires, attracts and retains people from diverse backgrounds and reflects UK society.

 

Dates for 2020 confirmed. 

GEEP1: 19th, 20th & 21st August (Virtual)

GEEP2: 23rd, 24th & 25th September (Virtual)

GEEP3: 28th, 29th & 30th October (Virtual)

GEEP4: 25th, 26th & 27th November (Virtual)

Successful applicants will be required to attend all three days of the GEEP event they are selected for.

Application Infomation

Eligibility: Undergraduates in every year of study as well as recent graduates. You should be studying, or have graduated in, a relevant degree for the engineering industry (STEM subjects). Preference will be given to engineering students from the relevant degree disciplines listed below:

1)  Create a profile and register with SEO London.

2) After registration, there will be a “View Opportunities” section in your profile. You should see the GEEP opportunity appear within a few hours after registration. Apply for that and follow the instructions to indicate which GEEP sessions you are available for. (If successful, you will be selected to attend only one GEEP event) 

3) Once the above steps are completed, SEO London will screen applicants and will be in touch with next steps.

These engineering employers have collaborated with the Royal Academy of Engineering to create a Graduate Engineering Engagement Programme aimed at attracting undergraduates from diverse backgrounds into the engineering profession.
