Job Summary
Looking for a Senior Associate to join EMEA Asset Management Alternatives COO team in London. The COO Team works with Asset Management leadership to implement strategic initiatives; create and execute processes designed to support the business growth; drive technology initiatives designed to increase business efficiency; execute processes designed to comply with regulatory and reporting requirements; perform analytics to assess business performance and portfolio condition; and work closely with Business Unit Managers across the division to monitor overall division performance and cross-collaborations.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders both within and outside of Asset Management Alternatives – Asset Management leadership, deal teams, CFO teams, Engineering, Fundraising, Sustainability & Impact, Operations and other Control areas of the Firm -- in order to facilitate efficient business processes and operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and provide support to the EMEA Asset Management COO.
RESPONSIBILTIES
Support EMEA Asset Management Alternatives COO on executing key business priorities & transformational projects
Facilitate preparation of strategy presentations that communicate critical messages effectively to key internal and external stakeholders
Help implement reporting processes to enhance leadership's ability to monitor the business in real time
Work with Asset Management Engineering to design, test and implement business planning and workflow technology solutions
Work with Control side teams to design, implement and execute processes necessary to ensure compliance with regulatory and/or Firm requirements
Coordinate regularly-scheduled Asset Management meetings, townhalls etc.
Assist EMEA Asset Management COO with the definition and implementation of divisional Conduct and Culture program
Coordinate ad hoc requests from across the division, both at EMEA and Global level
Skills & Experience we are looking for
Strong financial literacy and proficiency in working with financial statements and reports
Ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in Finance or Business and have an excellent academic and professional record
4-5 experience required - prior experience in finance, banking or in a financial reporting role would be beneficial
A proactive team player with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility
Strong writing skills and ability to create engaging, dynamic presentations
Excellent multi-tasking abilities with strong organizational and time-management skills
Problem solving nature and ability to operationalize conceptual objectives
Ability to work well under pressure with a positive, hands-on, “can do” attitude
Self-starter with deep sense of ownership of work product and ability to drive projects independently
