The Role: Sales Specialist, Global Markets Group Fixed Income

GMG (Global Markets Group) sits within the Network Regulation and Solutions business channel, within S&P Market Intelligence division. Supporting clients through the provision of leading-edge software, data and tools.


The GMG Fixed Income division continue to lead the way in delivering solutions to the Fixed Income Capital Markets sectors.


With the World’s most comprehensive, primary issuance platforms and supporting data assets, S&P Global works closely with major Investment Banks, Asset Managers, and Issuers, to support them through all aspects of Capital raising process.


Our data aids risk and compliance and gives key insights into business planning and new issuance trade flows.




Duties and Responsibilities – “Your Role”



You will be a key member of the S&P Global, GMG Sales Team, located in London. Reporting into David Timothy, you will drive outreach across key Fixed Income prospect targets in Europe.




Key responsibilities include:



  • Sign and secure Buyside Investor Access MSA's

  • Conducting direct client outreach to covered accounts

  • Assisting sales team with outreach to their clients

  • Contributing to qualification process as required, providing demos, presenting service value offering as subject matter expert, providing deep product/industry expertise

  • Supporting sales with pricing and licensing terms for commercial offerings

  • Administer incoming leads, product campaigns, dashboarding, reporting in conjunction with Sales Management Team
