What you will be doing



Portions in bold are additional requirements for more experienced candidates suitable for the Senior Project Manager role


  • Lead project teams in disaggregating problems and providing solutions to address them while ensuring high quality deliverables

  • Develop innovative strategies and solutions for our clients - more experienced candidates will act as the first/primary point of contact for clients

  • Manage work streams and provide direction

  • Coach, manage and support junior team members

  • The Sr. Project Manager will also be expected to take a leadership role in building and managing the firm and actively contribute to Dalberg's firm-building initiatives




What we are looking for



  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager at a leading international management consultancy and a strong consulting toolkit - Sr. Project Managers must also show at least 1 year of managing high-performing teams in a problem solving/analytical environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and perform in an entrepreneurial atmosphere

  • A demonstrable passion for international development, typically evidenced by a strong interest and/or exposure to global issues such as economic development, global health, education, or the environment

  • Sensitivity to the political and cultural environments of international public agencies or similarly complex environments

  • Sr. Project Managers must have a 5+ years of experience framing and analysing evidence-based solutions to strategic challenges.

  • Familiarity with data analysis, modelling, statistics, econometrics, and other analytical tools a plus

  • Demonstrated fluency with English speaking and writing skills; proficiency with other languages a plus
