We are currently recruiting for an Investor Relations Associate to join the team. The purpose of this role is to play a key part in ensuring that the company has a well-managed and well-executed investor relations strategy.


Your responsibilities in this role would be:


  • Work with the Head of IR on managing financial results roadshows, conference calls, and company attendance at investor conferences

  • Act as a key point of contact for the management of roadshows, site visits and investor conferences

  • Assist with preparation and drafting of investor communications materials including RNS/ press releases, corporate decks, annual reports and financial results (including being responsible for regular updates to the corporate deck and investor relations section of the company website)

  • Responsible for updating key sections of the investor relations board report

  • Work to expand engagement on ESG with investors and on the expansion of ESG reporting

  • Take the lead on working with other departments to collate and analyse information on key ESG-related information

  • Take a leading role in the management of key organisational capital markets-related events (e.g. R&D day, Capital Markets Days, investor/analyst site visits)

  • Responsible for monitoring of IR email inbox, responding to queries and escalating as appropriate

  • Work with the Communications team on other organisational events such as VIP visits and facility opening events

  • Work with Communications team on regular updates and a rebuild of the corporate website

  • Work on other IR/Communications ad hoc projects


To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:


  • Degree level or equivalent

  • Relevant experience in investor relations, capital markets, corporate finance, investment banking or advisory, or financial communications

  • Exceptional communication skills; both spoken and written

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret information

  • Commercial acumen with good attention to detail and accuracy

  • A proven track record of being able to manage multiple projects/deadlines

  • Problem solving skills – being able to tackle issues as they arise (this role is not one with a lot of ‘routine’, there are a diverse range of tasks)

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
