The Role:

The Atomico Angel Programme launched in 2018 as the first programme of its kind in Europe. It was launched with the aim of activating the next generation of diverse founders and investors across the European tech ecosystem. Since then, it has found success in both expanding the ecosystem of angel investors in Europe to include not only successful entrepreneurs and operators but also those who are aspiring to learn more about investing and working with Atomico.

On the other hand, Atomico's Seed Fund of Funds Programme, has been fostering a new generation of emerging fund managers for more than a decade. We’ve since committed to more than dozens of emerging and established early-stage fund managers from all across Europe as part of our Seed Fund of Funds programme.

For Atomico, the Angel and Seed FoF programmes continue to create value to expand our diverse community of founders and investors. Our new Analyst position will work to support these programmes. Their primary role will be to manage the day-to-day operations and help to build a community of founders and operators who are, or will become, a part of the Atomico network.

They will support the Programme Managers to ensure that both programmes operate at their highest capacity and continue to scale in ambition. This will include both executing and running the day-to-day operations of the programme and working across teams to ensure full alignment, such as the Investment Team, Insights, Engineering, Events, Finance and Legal.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support in developing the Atomico Angel and Seed FoF Programme strategy

  • Manage relationships with potential Atomico Angel and Seed FoF investors

  • Support in the selection of Angels and new fund managers for  recommendation to IC and ultimately onboard into the programme

· Using data driven sourcing initiatives and the Atomico  network, develop the process to ensure we continue to attract and onboard top talent to the programmes

· Coordinate the onboarding of Angels and FoF managers to both programmes

· Supporting in off-boarding Angels and FoF managers, managing relationships with individuals post-programme

  • Supporting in the management of day-to-day operations of both programmes

· Manage communications with programme members and support as the point of contact for all general queries and inbounds

· Optimise and support on investment process and administration

· Support on evaluation, preparation of analysis and evaluation materials

· Managing the flow of intel from the Atomico team to and from the programmes

  • Responsible for coordinating events together with the Head of Community & Events

  • Working alongside the Legal and Finance team to streamline the investment processes and to ensure deadlines are me

What we’d love you to bring to the team

  • Relevant experience and clear interest:  2+ years of previous work experience, with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. You  can demonstrate a sound understanding of the European tech ecosystem and have a natural interest in the world of early stage tech investing.

  • A self starter with strong project management skills: This role is ideal for someone who excels at project management, is highly organised and is always looking for where they can improve a process.

  • A great communicator: You should be able to demonstrate your excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to build strong relationships. You should have strong stakeholder management skills and be comfortable in dealing with individuals at all levels (including C-suite).

  • A value-add team player attitude: We need everyone on our team to be a strong team player who thrives on collaborative working relationships, but can also take initiative and ownership whenever appropriate.
