Hello,


our mission is to become the world's favourite little healthy drinks brand. We're going through an exciting period of growth with a range that spans smoothies, juices, coconut water, dairy free, gazpacho, and more in more countries than ever before. Our team is growing too, and we're looking to hire a Sales Ledger Credit Controller to join our team.

We sell our products to all types of customers from the big supermarkets to the little cafés down the street. It is our role within finance to look after these customers on a daily basis.




you will take responsibility for our UK & Ireland customer accounts across the following areas:



  • Accurately raising and issuing of all sales invoices on a weekly basis

  • Review all outstanding balances and ensure that outstanding invoices are paid to terms

  • Sending out statements of accounts to all customers

  • Accurate allocation of all cash receipts

  • Resolving any issues on the customer ledger, including raising and allocating credit notes and dealing with debit notes (deductions) taken by our customers

  • Weekly and monthly reporting of outstanding debt

  • Ensure customers remain within credit limits allocated

  • Obtain and entering Purchase Ledger invoices as part of our customer deduction process

  • Audit preparation

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customer and commercials account managers.

To succeed in our sales ledger team, you’ll be bright, enthusiastic, having cut your teeth in the business world, whether that be an internship, placement year, or previous role you’ll be ready to develop your career further at innocent - finance/accounting experience under your belt would be the cherry on top.




A really great candidate for this role will have:



  • Proficient Excel skills - proven experience manipulating and analysing data (e.g. pivot tables, sorting and filtering, graphs, formulae)

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and literacy skills

  • The ability to perform under pressure

  • Comfort with the debt collection environment and assertive nature

  • Positive thinking and can do attitude
