EMEA EQUITY SWAPS TRADE SUPPORT ANALYST
About the job:
Here in our King Edward Street office, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Equity Swaps Trade Support desk, as an Analyst. You will be joining a dynamic team of 9 and will be aligned to the Swaps Trading Desks in both London and Paris.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Performing Lifecycle events on swaps
Corporate Action events processing (elections and bookings)
Provide extended client service for swap queries through the ‘Follow the Sun’ model
Single Stock and Index dividend reconciliation vs hedges
Rate and price fixings
Process dividend payments and FX currencies
Conduct investigations into any discrepancies in the P&L statements
Build robust operation controls in place for risk monitoring
Query resolution via a query management tool
Maintaining a process improvement mentality and constantly seeking out better/more efficient ways of working
Build and maintain effective working relationships with Technology, Front Office, Operations and relevant stakeholders
The Equity Swaps Trade Support team provide cover and support to a variety of Trading Desks across the Equities Division including; flow, yield enhancement and Delta 1 desks, with crossover into more structured and exotic products.
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Prior experience working within a Middle Office or Corporate Actions function would be advantageous, however not essential
Close attention to detail required
Effective time and deadline management skills essential
Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
