The Role

Reporting to Managing Director or Director within Capital Markets team, the new Analyst/Associate will join a high-calibre and close-knit London based team of thirteen. The Analyst/Associate will focus on Infrastructure and/or LBO financings and will also be involved in all aspects of the KCM business including structuring financing solutions, liaising with teams throughout KKR, senior management of companies and other external market participants (e.g. bankers, traders, advisers, private equity funds and other buyside investors). The role provides exposure across the life cycle of Debt Capital Markets transactions from sourcing, structuring, underwriting, arranging and distribution (directly to end investors). The team operates in a flat and meritocratic culture; empowering junior staff and thriving on the hands-on involvement of the senior team members.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 1.5-3 years of experience in either leveraged finance, debt advisory, infrastructure debt or M&A, capital markets and/or credit funds

• Exceptional business analytic and quantitative skills

• Excellent professional and academic track record

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with all levels of management and investors

• Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership

• Can-do attitude to support a small entrepreneurial team growing quickly

• Attention to detail, good judgement and ability to manage time and multiple workstreams

• A second European language would be a benefit but is not essential
