Business Analyst / Project Manager - Corporate Shared Services (CSS)
About the job:
This role requires a high-caliber Business or Systems Analyst/Project Manager to assist in the continued delivery of a technology modernization and transformation program.
The successful candidate will join a technology team whose objectives are to define and drive continuous improvement in the management and ongoing ownership and maintenance of a wide variety of globally used application platforms.
The role will require working alongside established global teams to:
Co-ordinate and project manage the CSS Transformation program
Create, update, maintain and ensure quality project documentation
Influence and measure continuous improvement across the applications group, working alongside sub divisional owners.
Drive and measure the adoption of the latest support toolsets, software and infrastructure components
Influence application teams to eliminate security vulnerabilities
Help define and gather Key Performance Indicators for the CSS division
The successful candidate will have exposure to technology and application owners, regional and global technology managers in addition to business managers within the organization and so excellent written and verbal communication will be critical.
Skills and Experience
Essential
Experience of leading multiple projects across various functions, either in Financial Services or in Consulting, with a solid understanding of standard processes.
Strong analytical skillset with ability to assimilate, translate and communicate technology concepts and requirements.
Strong stakeholder management in order to drive projects forward and ensure milestones are met.
Attention to detail and high quality standards relating to documentation, processes and the control environment.
Confident self-starter who can work under pressure, using their own initiative and with the drive to work to aggressive deadlines and to see tasks through to completion.
A sound understanding of the project life cycle and different project management methodologies.
Excellent communicator and influencer, able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels from a range of departments, business areas and cultures in order to build consensus.
Ability to collaborate and work with offshore teams.
Initiative and ability to think laterally.
Ability to be proactive and independent, taking ownership of specific delivery work-streams.
Experience in lead daily ‘stand ups’ for delivery tracking.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills.
Flexible attitude and adaptable.
Desirable
Agile practitioner, or Prince/PMO qualified.
Experience in using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience in data capture, scripting and visualization using Python, PowerBI etc.
