Within our Risk Intelligence Solutions team, we focus on designing and delivering the solutions for risk owners across a business, drawing on our full set of capabilities to create targeted consulting and product solutions.

Your Role

You will be a critical member of the consulting group within the risk intelligence commercial team.

You will be a business development lead for risk quantification, representing our quantification services including financial evaluation of country risk, bespoke scoring, and country risk modelling. This includes leading on business development for our Country Risk Investment Model, a unique tool for quantifying country risk in financial terms to support investment decisions. As we develop the tool and associated services further, we want to add to our team a person responsible for the quantification and financial modelling of country risk.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting commercial strategy, product development and business development for risk quantification services.

  • Leading business development efforts to identify, design and execute on opportunities for the country risk investment model and associated solutions

  • Acting as Project Manager on delivery of consulting projects to deliver revenue to plan, budget and quality expectations

  • Building project teams from relevant research and analytics experts across the organization; managing project execution and the client relationship to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

  • Working closely with our sales team to take solutions to market, especially to corporate finance and financial services clients

  • Acting as an SME/solution design expert for solutions (both product and consulting) into the corporate/project finance space: providing expert insight and market intelligence to product development and enhancement processes and identifying and driving targeted campaigns in coordination with sales colleagues

About You

  • You have established expertise in the corporate/project finance domain: ideally as a practitioner working daily with cashflow forecasts and evaluation and a background in statistics and probability; or with extensive experience as a consultant working with corporate customers and financial services modelling the financial impact of risk

  • You have an established track record of working with clients, ideally designing bespoke solutions, delivering projects and revenue

  • You are intellectually curious, algorithmically minded and creative, with a naturally consultative approach to tackling new questions, which will be a key foundation to building enduring client partnerships

  • Cross industry and sector understanding or direct experience from working in industry; flexible mindset with an ability to interpret diverse industry sets so as to understand and identify their specific sensitivities to country risk

  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, demonstrating proficiency in both verbal and written communication

  • Experience managing complex project teams made up of multiple stakeholders from across business areas

  • High degree of personal integrity and motivation; willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project deadlines

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
