SEO London are working with one of the world's largest and most successful investment firms with a 45 year track record of investment excellence, and now managing $500 billion globally across public and private markets. They are looking to hire an Analyst / Associate for its growing Private Asset Backed Finance in Dublin/London.

Our partner set up a team in Dublin to manage the trading performance of its global Private Credit portfolio. The Portfolio Monitoring Unit (PMU) is responsible for the analysis of portfolio company financial statements, financial modelling and valuation. The team has since grown in London and Dublin, with responsibility for c.260 investments, operating across a wide range of sectors. 

Responsibilities 

• Ongoing proactive performance monitirong of the structured credit / asset-backed Finance portfolio, including servicer & oringinator dialogue.

• Having a good understanding of the deal documentation in order to understand our options, working with external counsel where necessary.

• Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis.

• Working with origination teams on refinancings and exit of positions in the portfolio.

• Screening and approval of investment opportunities for lending platforms in the portfolio.

• Where applicable, assisting with "Work-Out" scenarios / Restructurings. 

Attributes Required

• c.2-6 years relevant experience - ideally in a broad based advisory / ABS / securitisation / transaction services / restructuring / rating environment.

• Ability to learn quickly on the job and determination to upskill in new asset classes.

• Experience working with asset backed lending / bonds is useful.

• Experience working with asset / NPL services is useful.

• Strong academic background.

• Ability to confidently form a view on an investment, take ownership of it and drive the implementation of any requisite actions.

• Commerical awareness and a good understanding of financial statements / modelling and structures.
