About Lote Global Investments (LGI)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a UK-based international family investment office. LGI acts as trusted advisors to the family in the management of their wealth, with a primary focus on real estate, and has been delegated the authority to make investments on behalf of the family. The family invests all its funds in a shariah-compliant way. LGI is a relatively new organization and is growing its team quickly given the ambitions of the family to expand their investments beyond real estate and increasingly towards private equity. Currently LGI invests primarily in the UK but has medium to long-term ambitions to expand its investments into Europe, North America, and East Asia. LGI is based in Leicester and Manchester.
Job Description
We are looking for a full-time private equity Analyst to join the Lote Global Investment team. The Analyst will be a core part of team and will be responsible for evaluating, analysing, and executing private equity investments, as well as real estate investments.
The Analyst will also support the broader team in helping shape the private equity (PE) and real estate (RE) strategies of LGI and will report to the Director of Private Equity. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to use their skills and ideas to help shape a growing portfolio and a new company. You will join a small team where you will gain significant access, ownership, and involvement in a range of private equity deals. You will also gain significant exposure to Real Estate transactions.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and analysing new PE and RE investment opportunities
Taking part in the execution of private equity and real estate transactions, including valuation, due diligence, structuring, deal documentation and financing
Developing and owning complex financial models
Assisting with the internal investment process, including preparation of IC materials
Helping monitor and manage existing investments, real estate assets, and portfolio companies
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years private equity experience. Direct experience working for a PE firm is most desirable, however we will also consider experience in adjacent sectors (investment banking, strategy consulting, corporate finance)
Working experience in real estate investments
Working experience with clients from GCC countries
Working knowledge of sharia-compliant investments and debt
Working knowledge of real estate investments
Excellent quantitative, financial modelling and analytical skills
Ability to work well in teams and support colleagues
Ability to multi-task and manage projects to deadlines
Excellent written communication, verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement
Ability and desire to play an active role across all areas of a new company
Bachelor’s degree from a leading global university strongly preferred
Motivated team-player who showcases honesty, integrity, and humility
