STJ Advisors is looking for an Intern to join its execution team to work on its high-profile pipeline of Strategic Research Advisory mandates and Equity Capital Markets transactions. This will be a unique opportunity to work with a dozen senior partners, previously heads of capital markets and research teams at bulge bracket investment banks. The new hire will have exposure to all levels of the firm and clients and will be involved in every step of the execution process. The core execution team at STJ is highly varied with people from a variety of backgrounds.
Most of our intern hires end up being long-term recruits at our firm.
You will be required to support the team in the following areas:
• Preparation of marketing material for pitches
o Multiple products: Strategic Research Advisory, IPO, Follow On, Capital increase and Private
o Research on company, sector, banks and investor universe
o Collection of data from STJ proprietary database and external data sources such as Bloomberg
and Reuters and performing analysis relevant to the situation
• Supporting regional and product heads coordinate marketing activities in their respective areas
• Deal Execution
o Assist the Deal Partner and members of project execution team throughout the transactions
o Participate in calls with banks, lawyers, accountants and highlight relevant details to the senior
o Preparation of materials for client calls and updates covering a range of topics such as
valuation, investor feedback, regulations, etc.
• Languages: Fluent in English and preferably one European language
• Prior internship or work experience in financial services (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum of 2.1 in undergraduate degree from a reputable university
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Genuine interest in financial services and understanding of capital markets
